Headless stream processing with Claude Code

Run your research pipelines entirely from the command line. Claude Code uses `get_stream_contents` to pipe feed data directly into your scripts or local log files. It works without a browser or GUI. You trigger the fetch, get the JSON response, and process the output in your shell.

Automated collection management via Claude Code

Script your intelligence gathering by querying your collections. The agent uses `list_collections` to map your feeds and `get_entry` to grab specific details for your reports. It's perfect for cron jobs or CI/CD tasks. You get the latest industry updates pushed to your terminal whenever you run your check.

Efficient search for CLI workflows

Query the Feedly index right from your terminal. Claude Code uses `search_feeds` to find new sources and `search_topics` to track trends without leaving your workspace. You get the raw data back instantly. It's built for engineers who prefer a terminal over a dashboard.

Common questions about Feedly MCP in Claude Code

Yes. Add the server using the `claude mcp add` command. Once connected, your tools are available for all your terminal-based tasks.
You can chain calls to `mark_as_read` in your scripts. It processes your requests sequentially, which is ideal for cleaning up after a run.
Run `claude mcp list` in your terminal. This will show you the registered tools and confirm the connection is live.
You can wrap these tool calls in a shell script or a cron job. It's designed to be headless and stable for long-running processes.
Your developer token is stored locally in your config file. The server only interacts with your feed metadata and article text, with no persistence beyond your execution.
