Connect Files.com MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Files.com to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates Files.com folders
Cline doesn't just list your directories. It uses `create_folder` and `list_folders` to actively build the structure you need for your current project. If you need a new path for a deployment or a backup, just tell Cline. It handles the API calls and confirms the folder exists before moving on to the next task.
Secure your Files.com data with Cline
Stop guessing about who can see your files. Cline uses `list_permissions` and `list_user_groups` to pull current access levels directly into your VS Code sidebar. It makes verifying your security posture a simple chat command. You get the exact data you need to ensure only the right team members have access.
Cline audits Files.com history
When you need to track down a file change, Cline uses `list_activity_history` to pull the audit trail. It pairs this with `get_file_details` to give you a full picture of the file's status. This saves you from jumping between apps. Cline reads the logs and summarizes the activity, keeping your workflow focused on the task at hand.
