Sync tasks to code instantly
Syncing your current Forecast assignments straight into Cline requires the `list_tasks` tool. You tell the agent to start working on your next ticket. It pulls the task description, reads the requirements, and instantly starts modifying your local files. No more switching tabs to read acceptance criteria. The agent grabs the exact task data, writes the necessary components, and shows you a diff. You just review and approve the changes.
Cline MCP Server integration
The `list_projects` and `get_project` tools give your VS Code agent deep context on what you are actually building. Cline pulls the project scope before writing a single line of code. It uses this context to align its file generation with the broader project goals. This prevents the agent from going down rabbit holes. By checking the project details first, it anchors its autonomous work to real business requirements. It just builds what you actually need.
Match milestones to pull requests
Mapping code changes to specific deliverables relies on the `list_milestones`, `list_people`, and `list_clients` tools. When Cline finishes building a feature, it checks the milestone to ensure everything aligns with the client timeline. You get a cleaner workflow. The MCP agent knows exactly who the client is and when the milestone is due. It drafts your pull request description using that exact project metadata.
