Connect Forecast MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Forecast to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Context-aware Forecast resource planning in Cursor
This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent inspect active Forecast timelines while you write code. The Cursor agent runs `list_people` to see who is available in Forecast to take on new development tasks. Having this Forecast data directly in Cursor means you can assign work based on real capacity. You do not have to leave Cursor to check who has free cycles in Forecast.
Link Cursor code changes to active Forecast tasks
Your Cursor agent can pull your exact Forecast work backlog using `list_tasks`. This lets you match your current Cursor code branch to an actual ticket in your Forecast workspace. It uses `get_project` to verify you are committing code to the correct Forecast project. Cursor prevents tracking errors before you push your changes.
Track Forecast milestones alongside your Cursor commits
Keep your Cursor development sprints aligned with Forecast business goals using this MCP connection. The Cursor agent queries `list_milestones` to show you exactly when the next Forecast release is due. It also checks `list_clients` to ensure your Cursor project matches client-specific requirements. You get a clear picture of Forecast delivery dates right next to your Cursor editor.
