How to Use the Forj MCP in Cursor
Generate code using real community data with Forj inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Forj MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Forj to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write code with live community data in Cursor
Use `get_account_details` and `get_group` to supply your Cursor Agent with actual API structures while writing integration scripts. Instead of guessing JSON payloads, the agent pulls real schemas to write accurate, working code. This prevents runtime syntax errors when building custom internal dashboards. Having real-time data inside your editor means you write tests against actual community configurations.
Debug active webhooks directly inside your editor
Run `list_webhooks` to inspect active payloads and endpoints without leaving Cursor. Your agent matches these live endpoints against your local routing code to identify broken connection points. This integration makes setting up event-driven community alerts much faster. You can verify that your local webhook handlers match the live configurations registered on the server.
Build group workflows using this MCP Server
Use `create_group` and `add_user_to_group` to write and test automated onboarding scripts in Cursor. Your agent generates the logic, executes the tools to verify they work, and refines the code based on the live response. You can inspect existing groups using `list_groups` to make sure your script doesn't create duplicate entries. This interactive feedback loop speeds up the development of custom community tools.
