…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Framer MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Framer to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Let Cline build and update Framer CMS items
The `create_collection_item` tool allows Cline to write new entries directly into your live database via this MCP Server. Cline reads your workspace data, formats the JSON payload, and inserts the record without you leaving VS Code. Because Cline operates as an autonomous agent, it handles errors by reading the API response. If a field is missing, it adjusts the code and retries until the item is live.
Inspect live project structures inside VS Code
The `get_project` tool pulls detailed configuration data from your active Framer workspace. Cline uses this structural data to compare your local components with your live web layouts. By using this MCP Server, the agent can check if your local environment aligns with the production setup. It reads the raw JSON definitions so you don't have to guess.
Publish live Framer sites directly from your IDE
The `publish_site` tool executes a live deployment of your target project instantly. Cline triggers this action after verifying that your CMS items and pages are correctly structured. This eliminates the need to switch windows to click the blue button in the visual editor. Cline runs the command, checks the status, and reports the live URL.
