Track Global Events in Real Time
Get a direct feed of global disaster alerts from the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System. Ask your agent to `get_alerts` to see a list of current events, color-coded by severity. You can also use `get_event_list` to find specific disasters like earthquakes or cyclones within a date range. It's fast enough to keep a running brief. You can get a quick summary of the latest events or dig into the specifics of one with `get_event_detail`. This isn't just a link—it's structured data your agent can summarize, analyze, or reformat on the fly.
Visualize Disaster Impact with this MCP Server
Go beyond simple lists of events and see their geographic footprint. The `get_event_geojson` tool gives you the exact polygons for an affected area. Your agent can use this data to describe the disaster's path or even help you plot it on a map. This is critical for understanding the real-world scale of an event. Combine it with `get_impacts` to get estimated population exposure and economic damage. That gives you a full picture of a disaster's consequences directly in your chat.
Monitor Specific Hazard Feeds
Focus on the threats that matter to your work. This MCP server gives you dedicated tools for six major hazard types. You can track `get_latest_earthquakes`, `get_latest_cyclones`, `get_latest_floods`, and more. Each tool provides specific, relevant data. For example, `get_latest_volcanoes` includes ash plume information, while `get_latest_cyclones` gives you forecast tracks. It's granular information, available on demand.
