How to Use the Goodreads MCP in Cursor
Use the Goodreads MCP Server in Cursor to pull live book data directly into your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Goodreads MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Goodreads to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build apps with live book data
Stop using static JSON mocks while you build reading apps. Use `search_books` to pull live results into your codebase. Your agent can now write code that handles real responses from `get_book_info` instantly.
Query author and series details
Inject accurate series order into your application logic using `get_series_metadata`. It saves you from manual data entry. Your code will reflect real-world author profiles by calling `get_author_profile` during the build process.
Analyze reading habits programmatically
Use `get_user_shelves_list` to test how your app handles user data. It gives you a real view of how shelves look in the wild. Call `get_user_reviews` to populate your UI with actual text from the community.
