Multi-agent access to Google Forms

Your AutoGen agents can call `get_form_metadata` to align on the structure of a form. This ensures every agent in the group understands the data before they start debating it. It keeps the team on the same page. No agent acts on incorrect assumptions about the form layout.

Debate based on form submissions

Agents use `get_form_responses` to retrieve the evidence they need for their discussions. One agent might flag a specific response as an anomaly while another justifies it. This is how you reach a consensus on data quality. The agents challenge each other until they agree on the best interpretation of the results.

Automated form data reconciliation

You can assign one agent to fetch data and another to verify it against your business rules. They work in tandem to ensure your reporting is accurate. It turns a tedious manual task into a collaborative process. The agents handle the back-and-forth, leaving you with a finalized decision.

Setup guide

Set up Google Forms MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Google Forms tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Google Forms_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Google Forms data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Google Forms MCP in AutoGen

Agents communicate through the standard conversation loop. When one agent executes a tool, the output is passed to the other agents for their review and analysis.
Yes, you can set up a persistent agent that periodically checks for new responses. If it finds anything unusual, it can alert your other agents to discuss the issue.
You define the hierarchy in your agent setup. If you have a primary agent in charge of data retrieval, the others will wait for its input before acting.
The data is handled in your local execution environment. It is never stored by the MCP server, and it only exists within the context of your specific agent session.
Vinkius manages the auth handshake. You just provide the endpoint token to the server, and the agents use it to access the form data securely.
