Connect GovInfo MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect GovInfo to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live regulatory data using this MCP Server
Stop writing code against stale mock data or outdated legal PDFs. When you run this MCP Server in Cursor, your coding agent executes `search_documents` to pull live federal schemas and legal texts directly into your active editor. The agent uses `get_package_summary` to verify document structures before generating your database migrations. You write code that reflects the actual state of federal records.
Automate compliance checks inside your editor
Here is the deal: code that handles government filings must be precise. Cursor uses `get_collection` to monitor specific document groups and flags changes that might break your parsing logic. By calling `get_published`, your editor stays updated on daily federal registry releases. Your code adapts to new publications as soon as they are printed.
Map complex legislative relations in Cursor
Building legal tech requires understanding how different bills connect. Cursor calls `get_related_documents` to map dependencies between different pieces of legislation right in your sidebar. Your agent then uses `list_package_granules` to dissect these documents into manageable parts. You build accurate relational models without leaving your coding environment.
