How to Use the Guidebook MCP in Cline
Let Cline write code and manage Guidebook mobile event content directly from your VS Code sidebar.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Guidebook MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Guidebook to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Audit Live Schedules Directly in Cline
The `list_schedules` tool lets Cline fetch the active event timetables from your Guidebook account to inspect them in VS Code. Cline runs this check to verify that your mobile app schedules match your local configuration files. When Cline detects a scheduling error, it uses `get_session` to pull the precise timing and description of the affected block. The agent then writes the necessary JSON patches to correct the issue without you leaving the editor.
Build Speaker Directories with this MCP Server
The `list_speakers` tool provides Cline with immediate access to all presenter profiles stored in your mobile app. Cline uses this endpoint to build local directory components, automatically importing bios and images into your code. If you need to verify a specific presenter's details, Cline calls `get_speaker` to check their assigned slots. This MCP Server integration allows Cline to write mock tests using actual live speaker data.
Manage Exhibitors and Custom Lists
The `list_custom_lists` tool retrieves your custom event directories, such as sponsor tiers and exhibitor booths, straight to Cline. Cline maps these lists to your frontend components, ensuring the mobile app layout matches your web dashboard. To verify where these exhibitors are located, Cline calls `list_locations` to cross-reference booth numbers with venue maps. You get a complete, verified data sync generated entirely by your autonomous agent.
