How to Use the Guidebook MCP in Cursor
Build event-driven code in Cursor by pulling live Guidebook data through an MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Guidebook MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Guidebook to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live event data into Cursor
Write code that reacts to actual session schedules. Use `list_schedules` and `list_sessions` to feed real-time event structures directly into your editor context. The AI writes better code when it sees the real data. You'll stop guessing at schemas and start building against the actual API response structure.
Verify speaker records in Cursor
Use `list_speakers` to find the right ID, then `get_speaker` to pull the full bio into your current file. It’s faster than switching to a browser. This keeps your focus on the codebase. You get the exact strings and metadata you need to populate your front-end components.
Manage Guidebook API calls
Always check your budget before running bulk sync scripts. `get_rate_limit` provides the data you need to avoid 429 errors during your build process. It’s a simple check that saves hours of debugging. Run it in Agent mode to ensure your logic respects the server constraints.
