Claude Code Audits Monitor Coverage
This tool allows your terminal agent to execute `list_checks` and compare the active monitors against your local crontab or Kubernetes cronjob manifests. Claude Code parses your infrastructure files and flags any scheduled tasks missing a heartbeat monitor. You skip the manual spreadsheet tracking. The agent spots the gaps, runs `create_check` to generate the missing monitors, and outputs a patch file containing the new ping URLs for your CI/CD pipeline.
Investigate Outages via CLI
The MCP Server exposes `list_flips` and `get_ping_body` for rapid terminal-based incident response. When PagerDuty fires, you ask your agent to pull the recent status changes for the failing service. You get the exact HTTP payload of the last failed ping printed to stdout. The agent analyzes the error message, checks the overall `get_status` of the monitoring platform, and suggests a rollback command.
Programmatic Maintenance Windows
You control alert fatigue during deployments by scripting `pause_check` and `resume_check` directly into your terminal workflows. Before running a massive database migration, you tell the agent to silence the affected background jobs. It finds the specific checks by slug, pauses them, and waits for your migration script to finish. Once the deploy succeeds, it resumes the monitors and runs `list_integrations` to verify the alerting channels are active again.
