Connect Healthchecks.io MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Healthchecks.io to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
MCP Server Driven Task Registration
This integration gives Cline access to `create_check` and `update_check` so it can register new monitors while writing the actual cron script. You tell the agent to build a nightly backup job, and it handles both the Python code and the monitoring setup. It doesn't just leave you with a script. Cline grabs the new ping URL, embeds it into the error-handling block of your code, and tests the connection to confirm the heartbeat registers correctly.
Diagnose Downtime Without Leaving VS Code
The server provides `list_flips` and `list_pings` to track exactly when and why a job stopped reporting. When a service goes down, Cline pulls the timeline of status changes and the raw `get_ping_body` data. You get the root cause analysis directly in your editor. The agent cross-references the failure timestamp with your recent git commits, spots the bug, and writes the patch.
Audit Alerting Integrations
You can map out your entire incident response chain using `list_integrations` and `list_badges`. Cline pulls the configured channels to confirm where downtime alerts are actually routing. If a developer deletes a Slack webhook by mistake, you can ask the agent to audit the project. It uses `get_check` to verify individual configurations and check that critical jobs have active alerting paths.
