How to Use the Highnote MCP in Claude
Give Claude Desktop direct access to Highnote card issuance and ledger data.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Highnote MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect Highnote to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Cards Directly in Claude Desktop
Connect your Highnote account to Claude Desktop and manage card statuses without opening another dashboard. Tell your agent to run `list_payment_cards` to see all virtual and physical cards issued in your program. If a user loses a card, tell Claude to freeze it. The agent executes `update_card_status` to push the status to FROZEN or CLOSED immediately. You can also pull specific card metadata using `get_payment_card_details` to check expiration dates and spending limits right in the chat interface.
Query Ledger Entries and Transactions
Stop pulling CSVs for reconciliation. Claude uses `list_ledger_entries` to pull individual ledger records for any financial account. You ask for the recent activity, and the agent fetches the raw data. When you need more context on a specific charge, Claude calls `get_transaction_details` to grab the metadata. You can also list recent spending across the board with `list_financial_transactions`, giving you a clear view of money movement.
Search Account Holders Fast
Finding the right customer ID usually means clicking through multiple screens. Now you just ask your AI client to run `list_account_holders` and grab the unique ID for a person or business. Once you have that ID, you can check their balances via `list_financial_accounts` or drill into a specific balance with `get_financial_account`. The MCP Server handles the API routing while you just type questions.
