How to Use the Hologram.io MCP in Cursor
Get live IoT telemetry in your editor. This Hologram.io MCP Server connects your code to your hardware via Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Hologram.io MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hologram.io to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live fleet data into Cursor
Stop hardcoding device IDs or mocking API responses during development. Use `list_iot_devices` to pull your actual hardware list into the editor as you write your code. The AI reads the response from `get_device_details` to build logic based on real-time attributes. It keeps your development cycle grounded in the current state of your field hardware.
Automate SIM operations in Cursor
Write scripts that manage your fleet connectivity without leaving your IDE. Call `pause_sim_data` inside your test files to verify how your application handles disconnected states. You can also use `unpause_sim_data` to cycle hardware during your deployment process. It removes the friction of jumping between your code and a separate dashboard.
Analyze session logs within Cursor
Debug connectivity issues by pulling raw session data with `get_recent_data_sessions`. Cursor lets you compare these logs against your local code logic instantly. You can also run `get_billing_cycle_usage` to verify if your code changes impact data consumption. It gives you immediate feedback on how your implementation affects network costs.
