Terminal-based Home Assistant control

Connect your CI/CD pipeline to your house. Use `call_ha_service` in your shell scripts to toggle switches or set climate modes based on build status. It runs headlessly in your environment. You can trigger events or services without a GUI session.

Claude Code monitors infrastructure status

Query your local instance with `get_api_status` to ensure your automation host is reachable. It provides immediate feedback for your deployment scripts. If the API returns a non-200 code, your script can abort. This keeps your automated processes stable.

Template rendering in Claude Code

Use `render_ha_template` to evaluate complex Jinja2 logic externally. Claude Code passes the template string and returns the rendered result to your terminal. This is essential for testing dynamic sensor logic. You verify your templates before deploying them to your production instance.
