Automate observation workflows
Cline uses `search_observations` to pull raw data for your specific project requirements. It handles the pagination and filtering, so you get the exact set of records you need. Once retrieved, you can command Cline to parse this data into new components or local databases. It uses `get_taxon` to ensure every observation is correctly categorized by scientific name.
Cross-reference biological data
Use `search_taxa` to find precise taxonomic information for your research. Cline pulls the common names, ranks, and conservation status directly from the API. This tool is critical when you need to verify species identity before writing code. Cline maps these results to your existing logic, ensuring your application stays in sync with current taxonomic records.
Monitor community identifications
The `get_identifications` tool lets Cline check the status of any specific observation. You can see the history of community agreement on a species entry. This provides a validation layer for your data. Cline can automatically flag observations that lack consensus, relying on the live data retrieved from the server.
