Connect Kandji MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Kandji to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fleet Dashboard Generation
The `list_devices` tool feeds your live Apple hardware inventory directly into your coding environment. Cline takes this raw JSON, writes a React component, and renders a fleet management dashboard without you lifting a finger. To add ownership context, the agent invokes `list_users` to identify device owners. Cline writes the data fetching logic, creates the necessary TypeScript interfaces, and stages the commit. You get a working internal tool in minutes.
Compliance Reporting via Cline
The `list_blueprints` tool shows exactly how your devices are categorized and configured. Cline pulls these group definitions to structure automated compliance reports in markdown format. Next, the agent queries `list_parameters` to verify active security policies across those blueprints. Because this MCP Server handles the authentication, Cline can focus entirely on writing the script that diffs your current state against your security baseline.
Audit Log Parsing
The `list_activity` tool extracts recent management history and system changes from your tenant. Cline uses this endpoint to build custom log parsers that flag unusual administrative behavior. If you need to track remote actions, the agent triggers `list_commands`. It pulls the history of lock, wipe, and restart commands sent to managed devices, then writes a shell script to alert your security team if unauthorized actions occur.
