Connect Kandji MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Kandji to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fleet Auditing with Windsurf
The `list_devices` tool returns names, IDs, and OS versions for your entire Apple fleet. Cascade reads this array, identifies outdated Macs, and instantly maps them to their owners. Once Cascade flags a vulnerable machine, it calls `get_device` for a deep audit of that specific asset. You don't have to write a script. You just ask Windsurf to find unpatched laptops, and the agent handles the pagination and filtering on its own.
Security Policy Verification
The `list_parameters` tool exposes every security control configured in your MDM. Cascade checks these policies against your internal compliance requirements and flags missing file vault enforcements. To understand how these rules apply across departments, the agent uses `list_blueprints`. This managed MCP Server lets Windsurf cross-reference device groups with active policies. It generates a clear compliance matrix directly in your IDE workspace.
Software and Activity Tracking
The `list_auto_apps` tool audits standard software libraries deployed across your organization. Cascade pulls this data to ensure critical tools like your VPN client are present on all machines. When tracking down shadow IT, the agent triggers `list_custom_apps` to catch non-store software. If something looks suspicious, it checks `list_activity` to see exactly when the application was pushed and who approved the management action.
