Audit infrastructure via Kisi MCP Server

The Kisi MCP Server brings physical security administration directly into your shell. You trigger Claude Code to run an access audit, and it fires `list_places` and `list_locks` right from the command line. There is no GUI to slow you down. The CLI agent pulls the raw JSON, formats it, and can pipe the results into your existing compliance logs. You get a complete hardware snapshot without leaving your SSH session.

Headless permission management

Managing employee access usually means logging into a web portal. Now you just ask your terminal agent to verify a user. It executes `list_users` to find the target and follows up with `list_role_assignments`. The agent instantly returns the exact access groups tied to that employee via `list_access_groups`. You can script this entire sequence into a cron job to flag unauthorized permission changes automatically.

Trigger hardware from CI/CD

You can integrate physical door controls into automated workflows. If a deployment script needs to open a server room, Claude Code can execute `unlock_door` as part of the pipeline. It verifies the current state using `get_lock_details` before and after the command. This turns physical entry points into programmable infrastructure that responds to your deployment events.

Setup guide

Common questions about Kisi MCP in Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http kisi-mcp -- in your terminal. Make sure all flags come before the server name. Use claude mcp list to verify the connection.
Yes. The CLI agent runs `list_users` and `list_role_assignments` without any browser interaction. You can pipe this output directly into your shell scripts or audit logs.
It fits perfectly into CI/CD workflows. You can run the agent inside a Docker container or GitHub Action to verify physical access states during infrastructure deployments.
Tell the agent to check your permissions. It will execute `get_my_profile` and print your current administrative limits straight to standard output.
The server handles hardware MAC addresses, door states, and employee identifiers. We manage this risk by forcing all traffic through ephemeral network boundaries. The connection drops instantly after execution, leaving no persistent state.
