Chain webinar operations in LangChain

Your agent uses `create_event` to spin up a new webinar session automatically. It grabs the resulting ID and immediately triggers `list_webinar_rooms` to confirm the workspace setup. You get full observability on these transitions through LangSmith. If a setup fails or a room ID is missing, you see exactly where the chain broke down.

Automate post-event follow-ups

Your agent calls `list_attendees` to pull the actual attendee list right after your webinar finishes. It filters out the active participants and prepares to run `send_replay` to distribute the recording. This workflow runs entirely on autopilot. The agent decides when to trigger the sequence based on the event status it gets from `get_event`, keeping your post-webinar pipeline moving without human delay.

Track performance with multi-server setups

Your agent pulls registration metrics using `list_analytics` to build real-time reporting dashboards. It dumps the parsed data directly into Postgres or a spreadsheet in a single execution loop. You are not locked into a single source of data. The agent queries `list_registrations` to check attendee details against your CRM records, ensuring your marketing database stays clean.

Setup guide

Set up Livestorm MCP in LangChain

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • langchain-mcp-adapters + langgraph packages
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install dependencies

    Run pip install langchain-mcp-adapters langgraph langchain-openai. The MCP adapters package converts MCP tools into native LangChain BaseTool objects.

  2. 2

    Connect via HTTP transport

    Use MultiServerMCPClient with "transport": "http" pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create a ReAct agent

    Pass the discovered tools to create_react_agent() from LangGraph. The agent automatically routes Livestorm tool calls through the MCP protocol.

  4. 4

    Run with any LLM

    Swap ChatOpenAI for ChatAnthropic, ChatGoogleGenerativeAI, or any LangChain-compatible model. The MCP tools work identically across all providers.

agent.py
from langchain_mcp_adapters.client import MultiServerMCPClient
from langgraph.prebuilt import create_react_agent
from langchain_openai import ChatOpenAI

async with MultiServerMCPClient({
    "livestorm-mcp": {
        "transport": "http",
        "url": "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp",
    }
}) as client:
    tools = client.get_tools()

    agent = create_react_agent(
        ChatOpenAI(model="gpt-4o"),
        tools,
    )
    result = await agent.ainvoke({
        "messages": "List recent Livestorm transactions"
    })
    print(result["messages"][-1].content)

Common questions about Livestorm MCP in LangChain

Install the MCP adapters and LangGraph. Initialize the client using the Vinkius HTTP endpoint, call `client.get_tools()`, and pass those tools directly to your agent.
Only if you give it the API keys and prompts that allow it. To prevent unwanted events, you should wrap the `create_event` tool in a human-in-the-loop approval step within your LangGraph state machine.
Your agent handles rate limits based on your LangChain configuration. If the server returns a rate limit error during a `list_registrations` call, the agent can retry using standard backoff strategies.
Yes. You can run this server alongside other integrations to pull data with `list_analytics` and immediately post a summary to Slack or update a lead in Salesforce.
Your attendee emails and registration records never persist on Vinkius servers. The MCP Server operates inside an isolated V8 sandbox, executing calls like `get_registration` on the fly and discarding the data immediately after the tool execution completes.
