Let AutoGen agents debate regional brand sentiment.

Configure an AutoGen group chat to pull social data using `list_social_monitors` and analyze regional feedback. A third AutoGen agent can challenge these findings by running `detect_arabic_dialect` to ensure the `analyze_text_sentiment` model didn't misinterpret regional slang. They debate the results until they reach a consensus on the actual customer mood.

Build consensus on customer profile updates.

Your AutoGen agents use `get_customer_profile` to pull existing profiles and compare them with recent social activity. If a user is flagged, a security agent can cross-reference `list_cdp_customers` while a support agent reviews recent interactions. They negotiate the best update path before modifying any profiles in your AutoGen pipeline.

Analyze support performance via this MCP Server.

This MCP Server lets your AutoGen agents query operational metrics using `get_omniserve_analytics` directly from your customer service pipelines. One AutoGen agent calls `get_monitor_details` to fetch specific monitor details, while another pulls general analytics. Together, they analyze bottlenecks and deliver a collaborative report on team performance.

Setup guide

Set up Lucidya MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Lucidya tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Lucidya_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Lucidya data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Lucidya MCP in AutoGen

You assign tools like `analyze_text_sentiment` and `detect_arabic_dialect` to your AutoGen assistant agents. They pass messages back and forth, debating the regional context of the text until they agree on a final sentiment score.
Yes, an agent can call `get_customer_profile` to verify a user's standing. It then shares this profile data with other agents in the AutoGen group chat to decide on the next support step.
You use the `mcp_server_tools` helper to fetch the tool definitions from the MCP Server. You then pass this list to your AutoGen `AssistantAgent` constructor, which automatically maps the schemas.
Yes, multiple AutoGen agents can invoke different tools from this server simultaneously. One can monitor channels using `list_social_monitors` while another analyzes analytics KPIs.
Yes, all social media monitor details fetched using `get_monitor_details` are processed in an isolated, secure V8 sandbox. Your API credentials and raw monitor data are never exposed to external servers or stored in any logs.
