Headless broadcast management for Claude Code

Integrate `create_broadcast` into your shell scripts to trigger alerts during deployment or build processes. Claude Code handles the CLI execution without requiring any GUI interaction. It is perfect for SRE workflows. You get reliable notification dispatching directly from your terminal session.

Streamlined history retrieval in Claude Code

Pipe the output of `list_broadcasts` into your log files or terminal buffer to monitor notification health. Claude Code pulls the data so you can parse it with your existing CLI utilities. You keep your hands on the keyboard. All notification logs are available for immediate analysis in your command line environment.

Direct broadcast lookup via Claude Code

Execute `get_broadcast` to pull metadata for a specific notification ID when diagnosing a production incident. Claude Code fetches the details and formats them for your terminal output. It is a surgical tool for your incident response. You get the specific alert data you need to verify system performance in seconds.

Common questions about MagicBell MCP in Claude Code

Use the command `claude mcp add --transport http -- `. Ensure your API credentials are set as environment variables before starting the server.
Absolutely. You can include the `create_broadcast` tool in your cron jobs or GitHub Actions to send automated status updates to your team.
The server only processes the broadcast data during the execution of the tool. Nothing is cached on disk after the command exits.
Run `claude mcp list` in your terminal. This confirms the server is active and that all three tools are ready for use.
Yes. It uses standard HTTP transport with your provided endpoint token. Only your authenticated CI/CD environment can trigger the broadcast tools.
