Coordinate Multi-Agent Dispatch

A monitoring agent spots an issue and runs `create_new_work_order` with the required title. The MaintainX MCP Server gives your CrewAI agents direct control over operations without manual input. A separate dispatcher agent takes over. It pulls `list_team_members` to check the roster, then calls `update_work_order_status` to mark the job active. The agents coordinate the entire repair cycle through shared memory.

Analyze Equipment Health

An analyst agent triggers `list_maintenance_assets` to pull the physical inventory across all sites. It looks for patterns in failure rates. When it finds a flagged machine, it runs `get_asset_details` to extract the metadata. The agent compiles a report and hands it to a moderator agent for review. You build autonomous oversight without human intervention.

Map Facilities with the MCP Server

CrewAI organizes operations by location using `list_facility_locations`. The planning agent maps the buildings before assigning tasks. Prerequisites

  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.
