…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Mapbox MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mapbox to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate live map components with Cline
The `get_static_map` tool returns direct image URLs for any location you specify. Cline uses this MCP Server to write the frontend React or HTML components, inserts the generated URL, and runs local tests. Look, you don't need to manually configure map tile providers. The agent handles the zoom levels and dimensions, writes the component code, and shows you the exact diff in VS Code.
Build automated dispatch tools with this MCP Server
The `get_distance_matrix` tool gives Cline the exact travel times and distances between multiple pickup and drop-off points. This raw data helps the agent write dispatch routing algorithms directly in your codebase. —and this matters—because Cline can execute shell commands, it can write a test script, run it against the distance matrix output, and fix any array indexing bugs on its own.
Run local reverse geocoding tasks
The `reverse_geocode` tool converts coordinate pairs back into readable street addresses and postal codes. Our agent applies this tool to populate database seed files or mock API responses for your location services. Keep it simple. Instead of writing mock address generators, Cline calls the live endpoint, captures real addresses, and writes them directly to your JSON database files.
