Connect Mention MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mention to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with live social data
The Mention MCP Server feeds live social media monitoring data directly into your coding environment. Your agent in Cursor pulls real data directly into your editor using `list_alerts` so you don't have to guess the API structure. When you need to test how your app renders a post, Cursor uses `get_mention_details` to fetch a real payload. It puts actual social data right into your active file, so you write cleaner parser code.
Automate your alert pipelines
This brand tracking integration lets you write automated alert pipelines using real-time social metrics. Building a Slack bot to ping your team when brand sentiment drops is simple when your Cursor agent writes the logic using this MCP Server. By calling `get_alert_statistics`, your Cursor agent understands the exact structure of your volume data and writes the integration code faster. You can also use `list_connected_external_accounts` to map out which social channels your Cursor code needs to support.
Refine search algorithms in your editor
This search tool pulls live social media queries directly into your active workspace. Your agent can run `search_mentions` directly from Cursor to pull down live search payloads. To verify your Cursor code handles user favorites correctly, use `list_favorite_mentions`. It pulls your starred Mention posts into the editor, letting you verify your sorting algorithms instantly.
