Connect Mention MCP to Windsurf

Auto-filter your brand noise
Cascade uses `get_alert_statistics` to monitor for spikes in brand activity. It parses these numbers to decide if you need to investigate a sudden surge in social chatter. Once a spike is identified, the agent calls `get_alert` to pull the specific criteria. It isolates the signal from the noise without you manually checking the dashboard.
Search mentions directly in your editor
Your AI client executes `search_mentions` to query specific customer feedback across platforms. It pulls the text data directly into your current workspace context. Set up Mention MCP in Windsurf
Prerequisites
- Windsurf IDE installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
- Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

Open MCP configuration
Click the Cascade assistant icon in the sidebar, then click the hammer icon (🔨) at the top of the panel. Select "Configure" to open

Add the Mention MCP
Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into the
mcpServersobject. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Refresh MCPs
Go back to the hammer icon (🔨) in Cascade and click "Refresh". Windsurf will detect the new server. No full restart is needed — the connection is hot-reloaded.

Verify in Cascade
Start a new Cascade conversation and ask something like "Show my Mention payment history." If connected, Cascade will call the Mention tools directly. You will see a green dot next to the server name in the MCP panel.
