Chain project discovery in the Windsurf MCP Server.
Let Cascade handle the heavy lifting of finding Minecraft mods. When you ask it to build a modpack, it fires up `search_projects` to find the exact files you need, filtering by game version and loader without waiting for your permission. Once it finds a candidate, the agent immediately runs `get_project` to inspect the metadata. It doesn't stop to ask you for the next step; it just builds the list and presents the final plan.
Resolve complex dependency trees automatically.
Modding breaks when versions clash. Cascade fixes this by querying `get_project_dependencies` to map out the entire tree of required libraries for your chosen mods. It then pulls the exact file details using `get_version` and `list_versions` to match your loader requirements. You get a fully resolved manifest in your workspace without writing a single API call yourself.
Audit creators and team credentials instantly.
Keep your modpack secure by verifying who wrote the code. Windsurf uses `get_team_members` and `get_user_profile` to check the reputation of the developers behind each project. The agent analyzes this data alongside `list_user_projects` to ensure you only import active, maintained mods. It filters out abandoned work before it ever touches your local setup.
