How to Use the Moodle MCP in Cursor
Inject real Moodle data into your codebase using Cursor and this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Moodle MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Moodle to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build features using live Moodle data
Stop guessing what your API responses look like. Use `get_course_contents` and `list_assignments` to pull actual data into your editor while you write your code. Your agent now works with real records. This prevents the common bugs that come from using hardcoded stubs or fake documentation examples.
Manage enrollment programmatically
Write scripts that call `enrol_users` to handle student onboarding as part of your development workflow. It lets you test complex enrollment logic against a live instance. This is about speed and accuracy. You get immediate feedback on your code because the MCP Server performs the actual operation against your target environment.
Query site info within your editor
Use `get_site_info` to verify your environment configuration without switching windows. It pulls the current state of your platform directly into Cursor. This keeps your focus on the logic. You get the data you need to confirm your code is pointing at the right instance before you deploy.
