How to Use the NeetoCal MCP in CrewAI
Deploy a team of autonomous agents using CrewAI to manage your NeetoCal bookings and calendar availability.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect NeetoCal MCP to CrewAI
Create your Vinkius account to connect NeetoCal to CrewAI and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Let CrewAI agents run your booking desk
The `list_bookings` tool gives your agent crew a complete view of upcoming appointments to coordinate scheduling tasks. One agent can monitor the list while another uses `get_slots` to find openings for new inquiries. This collaborative setup allows your crew to handle incoming requests without human intervention. By assigning specific roles, you can have a triage agent check availability and a booking agent execute the appointment.
Distribute custom scheduling links via CrewAI
The `get_scheduling_link` tool allows your specialized agents to retrieve the exact booking link required for a specific client tier. The agent analyzes the client's profile and matches it against options from `list_scheduling_links`. This MCP Server toolset enables your crew to send personalized booking options during email interactions. The agents run these tasks in the background, ensuring clients always get the correct scheduling page.
Resolve scheduling conflicts autonomously
The `cancel_booking` tool enables agents to remove canceled meetings from the system as soon as a client requests it. The crew can immediately follow up by calling `get_availability` to offer alternative dates. When a conflict occurs, the `reschedule_booking` tool allows the agent to move the appointment and update the record. This maintains booking accuracy across your entire calendar system without manual admin work.
Set up NeetoCal MCP in CrewAI
Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
crewaipackage (pip install crewai) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install CrewAI
Run
pip install crewaito install the framework. MCP support is built-in via themcpsparameter. - 2
Add the MCP URL to your agent
Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the
mcpslist. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically. - 3
Kick off your crew
Create a
Crewwith your agent and tasks. Callcrew.kickoff()— the agent will automatically invoke NeetoCal tools as needed.
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew
agent = Agent(
role="NeetoCal Analyst",
goal="Access and analyze NeetoCal data via MCP.",
backstory="Expert analyst with direct NeetoCal access.",
mcps=[
"https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
],
)
task = Task(
description="List recent NeetoCal transactions",
agent=agent,
expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)
crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()

- 1
Install dependencies
Run
pip install crewai crewai-tools. TheMCPServerAdapterhandles lifecycle management and tool conversion. - 2
Connect with MCPServerAdapter
Use
MCPServerAdapteras a context manager withSseServerParameterspointing to your Vinkius endpoint. The adapter automatically manages connection lifecycle. - 3
Assign tools and run
Pass the returned
mcp_toolsto your agent'stoolsparameter. The adapter converts MCP tools to nativeBaseToolobjects compatible with all CrewAI agents.
