Connect Notion MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Notion to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Update Notion tasks as Cline writes your code
The `update_page` tool allows Cline to modify properties on your sprint tracker pages immediately after running tests. Cline matches your current git branch to a Notion page ID and changes the status field to completed. To make sure it targets the right record, Cline runs `query_database` to filter by your username or task title. This keeps your project management board in lockstep with your local git commits without manual status updates.
Let Cline generate technical specs in Notion
The `create_page` tool enables Cline to build technical documentation directly inside your team's workspace databases. When you ask Cline to document a new API, it drafts the spec, formats the markdown, and creates the page. Cline then calls `append_block_children` to write code blocks, callouts, and lists directly onto the page. You get clean, formatted documentation in your workspace without opening a web browser.
Browse your workspace schema using this MCP Server
The `list_databases` tool exposes all available data tables to Cline, giving the agent an instant map of your workspace. Cline uses this list to find where to log bugs or pull requirements. For deeper context, Cline runs `retrieve_database` to inspect the exact schema, column names, and select options. It ensures every write operation matches your database rules, avoiding API errors.
