Connect Notion MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Notion to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Query Notion databases directly in Cursor
The `query_database` tool lets Cursor fetch actual Notion database rows to use as live context inside your active codebase. When writing integrations, your Cursor agent pulls live Notion schema definitions instead of relying on outdated documentation or hardcoded mocks. By combining database queries with `list_databases`, Cursor identifies exactly which Notion table schema to target in your code. Your Cursor agent injects live Notion API payloads directly into your editor, letting you generate accurate TypeScript types on the fly.
Generate Notion pages using Cursor MCP Server
The `create_page` tool enables Cursor to generate new Notion pages directly from your codebase or terminal output. If a local test fails, Cursor instantly calls the API to document those error logs inside your Notion tracking database. The Cursor agent runs `append_block_children` to write the failing code snippet directly into your Notion page. This links your Cursor development environment directly to your team's Notion tracking database without leaving the editor.
Search and update Notion files inside Cursor
The `search` tool allows Cursor to find specific Notion pages by title to pull technical requirements directly into your editor. Once found, Cursor uses `retrieve_page` to parse the Notion task details and align your active file with the product spec. If you finish writing a feature, Cursor executes `update_page` to change your Notion task status to complete. Manage your Notion sprint tickets directly inside your Cursor editor window.
