Connect Transport for London MCP to Cline

Build a full journey dashboard with Cline
You tell Cline to build out a component showing travel options. It runs `get_journey` and fetches multiple routes, including estimated cost and duration. You get the data structured immediately for your front-end code. Cline even writes tests against this logic, ensuring that if TfL changes its fare structure or adds new lines, your dashboard stays functional.
Code a line status checker with Cline
Need to automate checks? Tell Cline to use `get_line_status`. It executes the call, receives the current service status (Good Service/Minor Delays), and writes the resulting data structure directly into your project files. It's perfect for creating scripts that monitor line health using specific IDs or checking all lines automatically.
Automate bike availability checks with Cline
Want to track local cycle capacity? Use the MCP Server tools. Cline can fetch comprehensive data by running `get_bike_points`, returning dock status, location, and bike counts for many stations at once. This data lets you build a map component that dynamically shows available bikes near your user's current coordinates.
