Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Travis CI MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Travis CI to Google ADK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Checking all repository status
Need a high-level overview? Call `list_travis_repositories` to pull every configured project slug. You can then get specific details for any of those projects using `get_repository_details`. This lets your agent build a full inventory of all codebases needing oversight, something vital when integrating with BigQuery data.
Managing and restarting builds
To get the job started or rerun a failed test, use `trigger_new_build`. If you know which build went sideways, you can use `restart_travis_build` with the specific ID. It's straightforward. These tools ensure your agent doesn't just notice failures; it actively corrects them.
Deep dive into job logs
Getting a general status isn't enough. Use `list_build_jobs` to list every individual job inside a specific build execution. You can pair this with `get_build_details` for maximum context. It gives your agent the granular level of detail required when debugging complex, multi-stage workflows.
Set up Travis CI MCP in Google ADK
Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
google-adkpackage (pip install google-adk) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install Google ADK
Run
pip install google-adkto install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via theMcpToolsetclass. - 2
Connect via SSE transport
Use
McpToolset.from_server()withSseServerParamspointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Create an LlmAgent
Pass the returned
mcp_toolslist directly toLlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required. - 4
Run with any Gemini model
The agent works with any Gemini model (
gemini-2.0-flash,gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Travis CI tools in your ADK agent.
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams
# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
connection_params=SseServerParams(
url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)
)
# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
name="Travis CI_agent",
model="gemini-2.0-flash",
instruction="You have access to Travis CI tools via MCP.",
tools=mcp_tools,
