Develop scripts to list all assets.

You can use `list_managed_endpoints` to generate a comprehensive inventory of every asset connected to Vision One. Then, you might combine that data with calls to `get_vision_one_account` to ensure the account itself is configured properly for auditing.

Automated threat hunting code.

To build a specific report, your agent can first run `list_email_activity_logs` and then use that data to cross-reference against network suspicious objects using `list_suspicious_objects`. This lets you write repeatable, powerful audit scripts.

Manage security incident lifecycle.

A common task is checking alerts. Your agent can call `list_security_alerts` to get IDs, and then pass a specific ID into `get_alert_details`. This pattern lets you write code that processes high-level list data down to granular details.

Common questions about Trend Micro MCP in Cline

You write a component that calls `list_security_alerts` first. Then, for every alert ID returned, you call `get_alert_details`. This process lets your agent build a full audit report programmatically.
This MCP Server provides access to endpoint activity telemetry, email logs, and XDR detections. These detailed sources allow you to write complex code that mimics a full-time threat hunter.
Absolutely. Use `list_endpoint_activity_logs` or `list_managed_endpoints`. These tools give you the raw data needed to verify asset health, which is critical for any automated compliance script.
Yes. Running `get_vision_one_account` confirms your connection and account setup within Vision One. This is a crucial first step before running any complex, automated audit job.
The server handles endpoint activity telemetry, which includes detailed system usage information. When developing scripts, always ensure you're handling the raw log outputs responsibly.
