How to Use the Trend Micro MCP in Windsurf
Run complex threat hunts with Windsurf and Trend Micro's Vision One telemetry.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Trend Micro MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Trend Micro to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Investigate security alerts with the MCP Server.
Start by calling `list_security_alerts` to get a master list of all active incidents in the Vision One workbench. From that output, you can dive deep into any specific issue using `get_alert_details`. This process lets your agent understand exactly what triggered an alert and who needs to handle it.
Audit endpoint activity logs.
Need to know what happened on a machine? You can search the history by calling `list_endpoint_activity_logs`. If you suspect a threat came via email, don't forget to check related communications using `list_email_activity_logs`. This gives your agent a complete picture of both system behavior and communication attempts.
Check for suspicious network indicators.
Threat actors often use bad IPs or URLs. Your AI client uses the `list_suspicious_objects` tool to check threat intelligence sources. It can list out known bad files, IP addresses, and domains right away. This gives your agent immediate visibility into external threats that may be targeting your assets.
