Connect Typesense Cloud MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Typesense Cloud to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Execute searches with MCP Server
The `execute_multi_search` tool lets you structure a JSON array of multiple search requests. You feed the data into Cline, and it runs all the queries in one API call for rapid comparison. This is ideal when your development task involves validating search results against several different criteria simultaneously. It keeps the workflow focused on data outcomes.
Audit cluster keys with MCP Server
Use `list_api_keys` to get a comprehensive list of all API keys configured for your Typesense Cloud setup. Cline uses this when it needs to ensure the credentials it's using have the right permissions. If you’re building a secure dashboard component, checking these listed keys prevents potential runtime permission errors before testing even begins.
List all collections via MCP Server
The `list_collections` tool provides all search collection names available in your Typesense Cloud cluster. Cline uses this to generate the required boilerplate code for connecting to specific indexes. When generating a new component that reads data, knowing the exact list of source collections makes the resulting code reliable and immediately testable.
