MCP Server: Programmatic image retrieval for Cline
Use `search_photos` to programmatically query Unsplash and get a clean output of IDs, URLs, and required attribution data. This is perfect for scripting—you write the call, it returns structured JSON you can pipe into another build step. You don't have to manually look up assets. You just run the search command in your terminal, and Cline handles the API interaction, giving you raw, usable data sets.
Build image-dependent components with MCP Server for Cline
Need a component that displays all photos from one specific set? Call `list_collection_photos` after finding the necessary Collection ID. This outputs an array of photo IDs you can use to populate your local database or API endpoint. If you need details on those photos later, you feed those IDs into `get_photo_details`. Cline processes this data stream, making it ready for consumption in your code.
Source assets via MCP Server and Cline
Start with a broad concept. Run `search_collections` using keywords like 'Industrial' or 'Nature.' This gives you the necessary IDs to scope down your search. Then, if you need inspiration outside of collections, use `get_random_photo`. The output is immediately usable in your scripts; it’s not just a link—it’s data ready for immediate processing.
