Connect Uptime.com MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Uptime.com to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch Monitoring Data
Cline can use `list_checks` to grab a comprehensive list of all monitor checks. You then feed this data into your component, allowing you to display check names and endpoints in real-time code. Want more detail? Use `get_check_stats`. This tool returns structured statistics that Cline translates directly into usable JSON objects for dashboard creation.
Process Alert Data
When you need to build a report or dashboard, the `list_recent_alerts` tool fetches recent downtime events. Cline uses this data stream to write the necessary visualization code, like React components. If an alert is critical, `get_root_cause_analysis` provides the technical details needed for your README file, which Cline writes right into your project structure.
Manage Configuration Code
Need to update a monitoring endpoint? Run `update_check` and pass the new parameters. Cline handles writing the function that executes this API call. If you are cleaning up old services, calling `delete_check` allows Cline to generate the necessary cleanup script or test case for removal.
