Connect Uptime.com MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Uptime.com to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Monitoring Checks
Windsurf uses the `create_check` tool to monitor new APIs or websites. You tell Cascade what needs checking, and it handles setting up the HTTP check using parameters like schedule and endpoint. You can also use `delete_check` when a service is retired. This ensures your monitoring list stays accurate, preventing false alerts on dead endpoints.
Analyze Service Status
Want to know how reliable a service has been lately? The `get_check_stats` tool pulls performance metrics for any existing check. This gives you concrete data points showing uptime percentages and failure rates over time. If an alert goes off, the `get_root_cause_analysis` tool provides immediate context on why it failed. Cascade reads this analysis and can suggest follow-up actions automatically.
View System Integrations
Check what's connected to your monitoring system using `list_integrations`. This shows you all active connections, from cloud providers to internal databases. If you need a full picture of everything monitored, `list_checks` pulls every monitor check into the current context. Windsurf then lets Cascade work off that complete list.
