Connect VineRadar MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect VineRadar to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Getting Vineyard Context
When you call `search_vineyards`, the agent grabs real-time results and injects them directly into your working file. You don't write placeholder data; you use actual vineyard names and IDs. This makes writing test functions way easier. The live context from the MCP Server ensures your code uses accurate, verifiable information.
Building Wine Search Logic
Need to check if a wine exists? Use `search_wines` and let the AI call it while you write your function. The tool returns live data—not stubs—which lets you immediately test error handling and successful lookups. You can also use `list_wine_varietals` to build out a comprehensive list of expected inputs for your code.
Checking API Status in Code
Before running complex logic, you should check the connection. Calling `check_api_status` gives you an immediate boolean result that you can use in your try/catch blocks. It verifies connectivity right where you're coding. This simple check prevents hours of debugging over network errors and ensures your code handles outages gracefully.
