Connect VolunteerHub MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect VolunteerHub to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch event details directly into your coding context.
You need to write a script that checks if an upcoming charity run is happening? Just let the agent call `get_event(id)`. The live JSON response drops right into your file, so you don't have to switch contexts. Similarly, writing code around group activities? Use `list_groups` and inject those results directly into a data structure for immediate testing.
Manage volunteer records within Cursor.
Writing a backend function that needs to verify if a person is already in the database? Call `get_volunteer(id)` and the working code uses those real API results. No more mock stubs. Moreover, you can use `list_volunteers` to populate an array of IDs for bulk processing functions.
Calculate total volunteer hours via MCP Server.
The agent mode lets you call `get_volunteer_hours(id)` and inject the resulting time data into your code block. This is crucial when building reporting logic. You can also use `list_opportunities` to define what kinds of work need tracking, ensuring your code handles all potential scenarios.
