Connect Vultr MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vultr to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Bare Metal Deployment via MCP Server
Cline executes the full deployment cycle. Say you need a new server; it uses `create_bare_metal`, then calls `start_bare_metal` to get it running. It’s not just showing code, it's making sure the component is ready and deployed. This capability lets your agent handle complex provisioning tasks—from creation to initial setup—all within one coding session.
Build Infrastructure Audits
Need a report on all current resources? Cline can run the necessary list commands. It uses `list_bare_metals` and then calls specific getters like `get_backup` for each item, compiling structured data. This output is ready to be imported into your dashboard. This makes building infrastructure reports reliable; you don't have to manually stitch together API results.
Manage Server Networking and State
Cline manages the lifecycle state of your assets. You can tell it to reboot an instance using `reboot_bare_metal` or even reinstall the OS via `reinstall_bare_metal`. It also handles advanced networking tasks, such as running `setup_bgp` for your account. It keeps track of all changes and shows you the diff, so you know exactly what state the bare metal instance ended up in.
