Connect Vultr MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Vultr to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Server Setup and Management with MCP Server
Windsurf's Cascade reads your goal, then figures out the multi-step process. Need a new server? You tell it to provision one, and Cascade chains together `create_bare_metal`, `start_bare_metal`, and possibly even `set_bare_metal_ipv4_reverse` automatically. It handles the whole flow without needing you to prompt for each step. Just set the objective, and your agent executes it using the Vultr MCP Server.
Audit Infrastructure Status
Check what's running and how much storage space you have. The agent can list all existing bare metal instances via `list_bare_metals`, giving you a quick inventory. You can then pull details on specific assets, like checking the IPv6 address with `get_bare_metal_ipv6`. It's perfect for audits. Cascade pulls the data points and presents them in context, so you don't have to run three separate commands.
Manage Credentials and Resources
Handling credentials shouldn't be painful. You can ask Windsurf to list existing keys using `list_api_keys`, or generate a fresh one with `create_api_key`. This lets your agent manage sensitive resources right inside the IDE. It also keeps tabs on billing and account details, letting you run `get_account` whenever you need confirmation of your current usage limits.
