Measure Emissions Using the MCP Server
Need to calculate a full GHG inventory? You first use `create_upload` to build an upload container. Then, you upload activity data records using `upload_data_records`, letting your agent populate everything from electricity usage to business travel. Once the data is in place, running `validate_upload` checks for errors. Finally, calling `submit_upload` triggers Watershed's engine to do the heavy lifting, giving you a task ID to track status with `get_task_status`.
Review and Refine Activity Data
Did you input something wrong? No sweat. You can check all existing containers using `list_uploads`. If an upload is messy, grab the specific record ID and use `delete_upload_data_record` to rip out bad data before validation. Want to fix a number instead? Use `update_upload_data_record` with the correct details. This gives you granular control over the raw activity data feeding your reports.
Get Detailed Carbon Reports
The process isn't done once calculations finish. You pull up all generated documentation using `list_reports`. From there, grab a report ID and call `get_report` to see the full details—including which disclosure frameworks it covers. Want a deeper dive into scope? Use `list_inventories` to get an overview of your organization's Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data for a specific year. Then, use `get_inventory` if you need the full breakdown on one particular inventory.
