How to Use the Webflow MCP in Cursor
Inject live Webflow data directly into your code while developing in Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Webflow MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Webflow to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live Content Generation using MCP Server
Start by calling `list_collections` to pull the available content structure. When you need to inject a real Webflow item, use `create_collection_item`. The AI generates functional code that uses these live API responses—no mock data here. You can update existing entries using `update_collection_item`, making sure your generated code always reflects the most current state of your CMS.
Publishing and Site Inventory with Cursor
To deploy a site, let the AI run `publish_site`. This command ensures that any live data or structural changes you coded against are pushed to production immediately. You can check out every available asset using `list_pages` and `list_sites`. This capability lets you write code that assumes success, because it's dealing with real Webflow endpoints.
Retrieving Site Details in Cursor
The `get_site` tool grabs specific site details right where your cursor is blinking. You can also get the authorized user info via `get_user`, ensuring any code you write has context about who's running it. Checking domains with `list_domains` lets you ensure your compiled application uses the correct, validated endpoint.
