Connect WhoisXML MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect WhoisXML to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Check Domain Availability
The `check_domain_availability` tool instantly tells you if a name is free for registration. Cascade figures out if your project needs a domain and runs this check automatically, so you don't have to prompt it step by step. It handles the initial market validation phase of any build. Just tell Windsurf your goal—like 'find us a new brand name’—and it checks availability across multiple domains for you.
WHOIS and IP Geolocation Data
You can run `get_whois_record` to pull the full, raw WHOIS data for any domain. This gives deep insight into who owns a site and when it was registered. It's essential background work before you start writing code. If the record is vague, Cascade pivots. You can then use `get_ip_geolocation` on associated IP addresses to pinpoint where that owner or server is actually located.
Email and Domain Validation
The `verify_email` tool checks if an email address is legitimate and active. It stops you from deploying code using fake contact info. You can combine this with the `check_domain_availability` tool to validate a whole corporate setup. Windsurf automatically confirms both the domain exists and that key contact emails are actually deliverable.
