Code-Driven Task Creation
You can write components that pull task data directly from Workast using `get_task`. Cline handles fetching the raw details needed for the component's state. It writes the necessary code structure and populates it with the retrieved project metadata. It even stages commits for you, so when your dashboard is ready, all the changes are grouped up in Git—no messy manual staging required.
Team Data Schema Generation
Need to map out how team roles affect component logic? Cline uses `get_team_info` to fetch the schema. It then generates a mock data file based on that structure, so you can test your code against real-world constraints. This process writes both the TypeScript definition and accompanying unit tests, ensuring that when you build it out, it'll work correctly across different team sizes.
Full Project Metadata Retrieval
Cline uses `list_tasks` to iterate over tasks within a specific workspace. It builds a JavaScript function that accepts any given space ID and returns an array of task objects, ready for consumption in your service layer. This is critical when you're building a utility package: the code handles the looping and data transformation so you just plug it into your build script.
