Connect Workast MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Workast to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automated Space & Task Management
You ask Windsurf to find all active projects related to a specific user, and it runs multiple actions automatically. First, it uses `list_spaces` to map out every possible project area. Then, it filters down by calling `get_user`, ensuring only relevant spaces are considered before gathering the full scope of work. It then compiles everything using `list_tasks` across those selected areas. You get a complete status report without ever having to prompt for the next step.
User and Team Data Aggregation
Need an overview of who's on board? Windsurf gathers all necessary team data in one go. It first calls `list_users` to get a full roster of available accounts. Next, it pulls specific details by calling `get_user`, allowing you to compare roles and permissions against the broader context. This helps you check out who reports to whom, or if someone has been added since your last login. It builds team knowledge without manual API calls.
Full Project Lifecycle Control
Windsurf handles full project updates when the status changes. Tell it to update a task across all spaces for a given user, and it runs `get_account_profile` first to verify permissions. Then, it uses `list_spaces` to find every container that holds work. It executes `update_task` on each item found. You just define the goal—like 'mark everything overdue'—and Windsurf handles the complex sequence of reading and writing data.
